#BloggersXmas 2016

When I received an invitation last month for this years #BloggersXmas event organised by the two talented sisters from Soeurs De Luxe I could not hide my anticipation, the reason being that I heard about the one they organised last year and so many great things about it. So being on the invitation list for this year was truly amazing. The event was held at the Finch's Pub a stone's throw away from Liverpool Street, a lovely quirky little place that I didn't know about and that I actually would love to go back for brunch in the near future. As soon as I arrived I got my Press Pass for the afternoon and already I was amused and very pleased to see a mountain of sweets welcoming us where we could help ourselves to as much as we wanted. You know me and my priority's: sweets first then brands. Once my bag of sweets was filled to the top. I decided to do a quick tour around and then select the brands that I am more likely to be interested by.

I have to admit all the brands that attended this years #BloggersXmas were truly great and I couldn't wait to hear what they had to offer. One of my favourites is actually not a brand by itself but a web site called My Beauty Matches.com. This web site, which is the world's biggest beauty website offers personalised product & price recommendations, basically when you register (free) you answer simple questions about beauty concerns from skin, hair, carnation etc. and this website will suggest products that fit best with your needs and also matching your purse. If you have a small budget this website will take this into consideration and only offer you what is in your budget or compare prices on where to find the best offer. The questionnaire only takes 5 minutes, so give it a go. Overall I love the idea of this website offering over 35,000 products from very known brands to some unknowns, the choice and the price comparison is great too. Another favourite of mine was JewelleryBox.co.uk, it is not the first time I have met the team behind the brand and as usual their display was very pretty & very festive for the season and yes as you could imagine very Instagram worthy, probably the star stand of the day. This brand specialises in selling very cute  and dainty pieces of jewellery (silver or gold) through their web site.  Then another one of my favourites was Journo Link which basically is a platform that helps to connect small businesses to journalist but more importantly to us: Bloggers! This free website is very easy and friendly to use, just register as a blogger and whatever you are blogging about (beauty, book review, fitness, food...) and you'll find a business ready to work with you or at least built relationship with brands that might be interested in you too. 

And finally, the Goodie Bag which is always super exciting to bring back home and discover all the treats! I have to say Soeurs De Luxe treated us well with the goodie bag this year, from Yankee Candles, MakeUp Revolution, Skinfix skincare, PNY, popband etc. All have been so welcomed and it felt like Christmas.
